But they have different aspects that they are able to contribute we also worked a lot with our community-based organizations we recognize that there’s a lot of assets in our community a lot of strengths and that we want to bring those strengths out and have people work and collaborate together it was great
To really have the American Planning Association be our funders for this project you know I’m a public health practitioner and the fact that it is they have made it their goals and their their core principles to better integrate planning in public health was really very instrumental it’s really understanding the intersections of all
Different policies and how they impact where we live and where we work in terms of sustainability we started understanding that sustainability wasn’t only about funding but it is about building collaboration collaborative partnerships and I think we’ve been great with that we’ve pulled in more people we have our part planning
Partnerships organization with us we have made our connection with our one of our local hospitals and we obtain the community investment grant where we’ll be putting in fruit tree fruit trees and bushes and creating a fruit garden for people to have access to and so we are
We’re on the way to building up more support in our community and around the state for our project
